How about winter bud kill. Only had 20 varieties produce fruit last year as compared to 60 the year before. I am located in Ontario Canada. What about lack of bees? Neonics are killing most of the wild bees and my honey bees. But the first problem is with lack of buds. It was too cold, too long.

Looking for any historical information for Lyons Sweet apple. I am wondering if it is suitable for being a new addition to my orchard. I don't even know its uses which would also be helpful.
