Anyone tried this variety yet? It is a new release from Ontario Canada. Supposed to be a very nice pear, anyone try this yet? What type of prunning systems have people tried with pears?

Anyone have any experience on peach prunning? I've got about 50 trees that I started as central leaders due to the fact that I didn't know any better. I'm reading now that open vase is preferred. Anyone try central leader on a redhaven before?
