From my own experience I would doubt it. I have made a wine from it in the past which has been very dry and crisp. The colour was very pale and clear. Speaking to a local cider maker and heritage orchard keeper his view is that this is a juice apple that should be blended with others such as Dabinet...

I have seen this growing in Denmark and wondered if anyone grows it in the UK and where I could get a plant or grafting material.
