Bad Infection / Infestation
Can anyone help me - My apple trees have some sort of malady. There is a white power-like substance all over them, leaves and branches. Anybody got any idea what this is and how I can treat. I have taken pics but can't seem to be able to upload them. How is this done?

Powdery Mildew?

Just like Cedar Apple Rust (your other problem), powdery mildew is also a fungus.
I think your best bet is to learn how to spray your trees with fungicides in the early season. You could start with a basic fruit tree spray like Bonide
