Controlling oxidation during pressing

Controlling oxidation during pressing
I've experimented with a few grinding/pressing methods, and each of them results in some amount of oxidation (some much worse than others). In an effort to minimze oxidation, I'm considering trying to run the whole process in a carbon-dioxide environment (because CO2 is heavier than air and easier to keep in place). Has anyone tried this? Is there a way to avoid it?

Good idea! Nitrogen might be a valid substitute if it is cheaper. I know it is available in tanks.
