What kind of apples does everyone want to try this year? I haven't tasted too many so I have a lot!

Cox's Orange Pippin
20 oz
Caville Blanc
Black Twig

How about a Dutchess of Oldenburg for an early apple?

Is there something you have been wanting to taste this year? Let's hear it!!!!

I'm dying to taste Esopus Spitzenburg. Supposed to be one of the best ever and I've never tasted it.

Also want to get my tastebuds on Grimes Golden. I'm wondering which is best in the yellow apples -- Grimes, Opal, Sinta, or something else.

And I'm curious about Sweet 16. I'll have my first crop this year. I've tasted them before from another orchard but I think they were under-ripe, so I'll leave them on my tree for as long as possible to see what happens.

I also want to taste every crabapple I can find. I mean, why not. I'm not afraid of a little astringency, and even the crazily astringent ones make good cider, for blending or jelly if nothing else.

Happy tasting!

Ananas Reinette and Calville Blanc each set four fruit, still waiting on pollination results for my Golden Russet.
