Necrotic Leaf Blotch

Post by Renegade19sc » Sun Jun 02, 2013 1:48 pm

Does anyone know of a spray to control Necrotic Leaf Blotch. I have 5 Yellow Delicious that are hit hard by this. The leaves have turned yellow.

Try this link for:

Disease looks similar to blossum rot on tomatoes which inidcates a lack of zinc. The bulletin says to apply fungicides containing zinc (Zn) ions! The fungicides are easy to find or purchase a fertilizer made of fish emulsion and seaweed (apply every two weeks). The fertilizer can be sprayed directly on the leaves which should take it up and help the leaves green up again. Hope this is not too late.
