I live in the Central Valley of California. The town is named Visalia and is 40 minutes south of Fresno and 50 minutes north of Bakersfield. I was always told that this plant at my house was called a "Crab Apple". I tried finding out exactly what kind they are and I haven't seen any pictures of these on the internet. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I heard that they are good far making pies, but I have been reading that crab apples are used for Jelly's.
