I'm trying to track down a Variety of apple for my sick mother in law. When she was a girl in the 40's her Grandfather had a orchard in western Pa. The apple was red in color and the size of a grapefruit. That is all I know and I can't ask since she is very ill at UPMC in Pittsburgh. I want to able to tell her the apples name and maybe find some. She almost died last Wednesday and I talked her through it by talking about these apples and her Grandpa's orcard. Talking about those apples I feel really help to lift her from deaths door step. Thank You, Mario
