A year long quest...what is this apple?

Would like to know what this apple variety is.

Found it in Southwest Colorado.
Growing around 7000 feet.

Looks like a Fuji. Depending on how old the tree was and where it was located, could have been eaten and the core thrown away by a hiker or left in animal droppings.

if it a wild apple that came up from a apple core it may be a new one . apple do not breed true and are almost all grafted to a desired kind

Hello,
More info would be a help like ripening date. There is a nice apple that ripens in oct. that looks vert similar original name was Oliver which Stark Nursery cahnged to Senator when they purchased the rights to it.
