I purchased two Honeycrisp and two Florina trees last year and I would like to know about pruning them. Mainly, should I go with the open bush shape, or a pyramid shape?
I bought them from Orange Pippin and they are dwarf I believe.

Re: apple tree shape
Most people are going with the pyramid / central leader form these days, but really it is totally up to you what you think is best.
Re: apple tree shape
Bush is less formal and easier I find. I believe it will yield earlier and more. Tying down, festooning branches is easier as a bush; the tree tends to do more of the size controlling through excessive fruit and less upright fruitless vigor.
