Does anyone know of any government grant programs that would help cover the cost of installing a deer proof fence?

First, have damage noted, cost out damage and then call your local Fish and Wildlife Commission folks as they are responsible for damage and will fence where needed. Otherwise they pay for the losses. At least that's the way it works here in Washington State.
