I live on the border of PA and MD so considered southern PA (zone 5b/6a). Normally our winters are mild however last winter we had some very cold weather for two to three weeks. I lost my two sweet cherries (Black Republican and Lapins) and now wondering if the cold snap killed them? Does anyone grow sweet cherries north of MD and what variety/varieties?
Thank you, Michael

Eastern WA the temps get to -10 to -15 deg F regularly. Was it really that cold? Check the roots for voles, root rot etc.
