Strawberry Apple
I have been looking for an apple since I was a child. My mother told me the variety was a strawberry apple. I was grown in southwest virginia. As I remember it was medium sized and the flesh was very juicy and it had red or pink streaks throughout. Hands down it was the best apple I have ever tasted. Any help identifying this apple would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for the reply! I looked at the washington strawberry and that may be it. The flesh looks like this though:

I may have found a guy that actually sells them. I shot him an email and he is local. So with any luck I can either confirm or rule out the williams pride. I will see if he has the washington strawberry also. Oh man my mouth is watering just thinking about getting my hands on those apples again!
