We make our own cider and do not pasteurize it. I froze several gallons last fall and we've enjoyed it throughout the winter. We use the gallon jugs like milk is purchased in as they have the indented circles in the sides to allow for expansion...just fill, cap and freeze. I also froze a bunch in half gallons and just left a bit of space for the cider to expand as it froze.

It was all just as good as fresh!

Freezing Cider

We freeze cider every season and it is great! Leave some room at the top of the bottle for expansion.
