Growing Thompson Seedless and Red Seedless in hot dry desert

Post by Desert NP »

Location: Hot dry Desert mid California 10 miles north of Mexicali, Mx.
Both varieties do well if sufficient water provided. Both are trellised. The Red Seedless often will develop a loose bunched second crop in Sept/October. Must be covered with net to protect from birds. Wrap trunks with old magazines or such to prevent rabbit damage

I hope your vines can avoid Pierces disease, carried by the glassy-winged sharpshooter bug!
