newbie to trees

I have just bought property that has 34 humongous apple trees. The previous owner stopped caring for the trees a long time ago. I would love to get these trees in the condition they need to be in but I have no clue as to how to care for apple trees. They need pruned, they have diseases but the apple crop is plentiful. I need help!
