When to plant a new apple tree

Iam a new tree planter,love to plant an apple tree here in toronto,Spring is officially starting nxt week.Can I plant the apple tree in 2 weeks time,please help

The best time to plant in the spring is as soon as the frost has left the ground and the soil has dried out enough that it is not muddy. Normally for us in PA we start planting around the end of March or as soon as conditions allow.
