How early can Stayman Winesaps ripen/drop

Just registered and first inquiry. Live in southern Indiana and bought three apple trees decade ago, all semi-dwarfs: Yellow Delicious, Red Jonathan, and Stayman Winesap. Two of the three trees are gone and I've never gotten fruit from the third until this year, when we had about three or four bushels. Beautiful, finally to get some! Anyhow, the problem is identifying the tree. It looks and tastes like Stayman, but the fruiting is now over, in early September. Doesn't make sense. Here are some pics. Anyhow heard of Staymans ripening in mid-August? Thanks.
