This is two cut apples from the same fairly old (possibly early 20th Century) tree near Nelson on New Zealand. Picked on 12 March 2023. The shape is reminiscent of quince, but this is definitely an apple, the non-spherical (or even squashed spherical) shape makes me think that it might be Catshead. Can anyone confirm?
