I am not certain of the answer but Kingston Black is a bittersharp cider apple, not very palatable, so I would not expect the juice to be of use for sweet cider.

I think Kingston Black is a delicious apple for eating as well as for cider. I think it tastes great as a sweet cider as well as hard.

From my own experience I would doubt it.

I have made a wine from it in the past which has been very dry and crisp. The colour was very pale and clear.

Speaking to a local cider maker and heritage orchard keeper his view is that this is a juice apple that should be blended with others such as Dabinett to make a palatable drink.
